Tomorrow Is The Big Day!

Due to weather conditions I have had to change my plans a little bit.  Because of threatening rain I will no longer deep fry my turkey.  I don’t want to risk having an uncooked bird when everybody is ready to eat! Therefore, I will go ahead and roast it.  Either way I think it will be wonderful!

So here’s the menu for tomorrow:

Herbed Roast Turkey

Corn Bread Sausage Dressing

Green Beans with Roasted Chestnuts and Grape Seed Date Vinaigrette

Roasted Butternut, Delicata and Acorn Squash with Pomegranate Syrup

Honey Glazed Sweet Potato Wedges

Mashed Potatoes & Gravy

For Dessert:

Pumpkin Tiramisu with Homemade Pumpkin Ice Cream

Berry Pomegranate Frozen Meringue Cake

So, the desserts are made.  I made the tiramisu and the meringue cake yesterday. The ice cream was made on Sunday.  I also started brinning the turkey last night.

Today I will be getting all the veggies ready for the corn bread stuffing, clean the green beans and cut the squash.  That way tomorrow all I have to do is assemble everything and get ready for a little feast!
