Who doesn’t like a nicely browned, delicious, tender pan seared scallop? They look so hard to make and yet are so easy! Here’s what you need:
1½ pounds scallops
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and Pepper (freshly ground)
Ø Rinse and pat dry the scallops. Dry both sides well.
Ø Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add some olive oil to prevent butter from burning.
Ø Add the scallops. Season with salt and pepper.
Ø Cook until bottom is well browned. Flip.
Ø Finish browning other side. Serve.
