Fudge Brownies

This fudge brownie recipe is very easy to make and is absolutely delicious. This recipe will render you a moist and tender fudge brownie that is not cakey.

I have another recipe on this site with cocoa powder for fudge brownies. However, the process of making them is completely different. This one is quite simple.

Please make sure that you allow your fudge brownies to cool down completely before you cut them. This will assure that your fudge brownies are as moist and chewy as can be.

This is what you need to do for perfect, tender and delicious fudge brownies:

Makes 16 fudge brownies
1 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs, room temperature
½ tsp. vanilla
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa
2/3 cup flour
½ tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9×9 square with butter and flour.

Mix all of the dry ingredients together.

Melt the butter in a heavy pot. Remove from heat and whisk in the sugar. Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, until well mixed. Add the vanilla. Whisk in the dry ingredients working in batches. Whisk well.

Pour batter into pan and bake for 40 minutes, until cake pin comes out with some brownie on it – not clean like a cake.

Cool down on a cooling rack and cut into squares. Enjoy!

    Hi there! I would like to ask if the melted butter needs to be at room temp before whisking the sugar n eggs? How different in taste is this brownie compared to the other one tht u hv on the web? Less choclaty i suppose? Thanks. Love your recipes!
