This recipe for Russian dressing is easy, quick and a great substitute for the traditional one which is made with yogurt or sour cream. Use it for salads or Reuben sandwiches.

Russian dressing and Thousand Island dressing are very similar in taste but have very different origins. I am not a great connoisseur of these but it might be a subject that you are willing to investigate more!

All I know is that this recipe renders you a delicious dressing that you can use as a sandwich spread or on your favorite salad.

Here is what you need to do for this quick, easy and delicious recipe for Russian dressing:

Makes about 1/2 cup
3 TBS mayonnaise
1 TBS ketchup
1 tsp. relish or finely chopped pickles
½ tsp. prepared Horseradish
½ tsp. finely chopped white onion

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk together. Refrigerate for about 2 weeks in a covered container.
