How to Make Homemade All Purpose Cleaner

This super simple and extremely versatile recipe came from Lisa Todd at Crafter’s Nook on Face Book. You will just need to mix 1 cup of baking soda with 1/3 cup of dish washing soap. Mix it until it looks like cake frosting and then keep it in a pretty jar with a lid on your kitchen counter.

Use this cleaner for everything from shining the kitchen to making your bathrooms sparkle!

How to Make Homemade Silver Cleaner

My mother taught me this cleaner. It is great for polishing silver and copper in a natural way. You will need to mix the juice of one lemon with 1 oz. of toothpaste and 1/2 cup salt. Mix until you have a uniform paste.

Use a clean rag and start rubbing the paste on all your silver or copper items. Make sure you rub well — until you can see the tarnish disappear. This will take some time so be patient and make sure not to take any short cuts. Rinse off the rubbed piece with some tepid water and dry it with a clean cloth. You will have a wonderfully shiny piece of silver or copper.

How to Make Homemade Furniture Polish

For super natural, world class furniture polish simply mix 1 part lemon juice for 2 parts vegetable or olive oil. Use this sparingly as a little will go a very long way. Your furniture will sparkle and your house will smell fantastic as well!
