When I plan my weekly menu I try and have a good variety so that we don’t get bored. Therefore, I will have a beef or pork dish, a chicken dish, a pasta dish, a vegetarian dish and a fish or seafood dish. This way I can cook different kinds of cuisines and keep dinner time fun and interesting! I am including some sample menus for you to follow. Please keep in mind that we have about 750 recipes on the website – a number that grows day by day – so you will have many things to choose from.
Once you have decided on your menu you will have to assemble a grocery list. Go through your fridge, pantry and freezer and make an inventory of what you already have. Then, and only then. go ahead and put together your list. I find it easier to do this when I list everything by categories. That way I am not going around the grocery store in aimless circles!
