These air fryer chicken wings are finger licking good and very easy to make. We are going to coat them in garlic, paprika and Parmesan cheese and then cook them in the air fryer. The final result will be a crisp wing that is loaded in flavor.
I always cut my chicken wings in three and keep the flat tip for making stocks in the future. There is no real meat on the flat tips and are not all that good to eat — in my opinion.
Please cook these in a single layer. Work in batches if you need to. This will ensure crispier wings. Yum!
I am using a Kyvol Halogen air fryer in this recipe. I really like it. It has a large basket which allows for less batches and it works beautifully. The following video is my review on this machine.
You can purchase it here.
Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Wings
2.5 pounds chicken wings
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon paprika
Black pepper (generous)
Salt (optional, depending on how salty the cheese is)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Spray oil or oil
Preheat your air fryer.
Cut the chicken wings into three sections. Reserve the flat tips for another time. I freeze them and use them for stock.
Put the wings in a bowl and lightly spray or oil. Add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix in making sure to coat all the chicken. Press each piece with your hands to make sure the cheese sticks.
Place the chicken wings in the fryer, without piling them up. Work in batches if necessary.
Cook at 380° for 24 minutes. Flip the wings at the 12 minute mark. Enjoy!
