This is what you need to make this wonderful hot buttered rum recipe:

Serves two
¼ cup (57 grams) unsalted, softened butter
1/3rd cup (73 grams) brown sugar
1 TBS honey
¼ tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8th tsp. ground nutmeg
a pinch of salt
a pinch of ground cloves
½ cup dark rum
1 cup boiling water
2 cinnamon sticks

Whisk the butter, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves until creamy.

Cover the bowl in plastic and refrigerate until butter hardens.

Place the hardened butter in a heatproof bowl (a 4 cup glass measuring cup would be ideal) and add the rum and boiling water.

Mix until the butter melts completely and serve into two heatproof glasses. Add a stick of cinnamon to each glass and serve hot.
