How to Make Bean & Tuna Salad

Tuna & Bean Salad

My godson called me with this recipe and so I made it this week. I was a little concerned about the combination of tuna with garbanzo and black beans but was pleasantly surprised. This is something that is very easy to make and holds well in the fridge for a few days. And talk about frugal!

Here is what you are going to need:
2 cans tuna, drained
1 can garbanzo beans (chick peas), drained
1/2 can black beans, drained
1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
2 small tomatoes, chopped
Garlic salt, olive oil, pepper and oregano for seasoning

Mix all of the ingredients in large bowl. Season with the garlic salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil to taste. Toss to coat well. Serve on lettuce.
