Pico de Gallo Salsa Recipe

This pico de gallo recipe is quick and easy and superbly fresh. Pico de gallo is a raw Mexican salsa that is made from onion, tomatoes, jalapenos and lime juice — although I did not add any to this one, feel free to add some if you would like. It is used on top of tacos, inside burritos or to eat with chips.

It is important that you use white onion when making this pico de gallo salsa recipe. Any other kind of onion will be too strong and ruin it.

This is what you are going to need for this deliciously fresh pico de gallo salsa recipe:

2 cups finely diced, peeled tomatoes
½ cup finely diced white onion
2 TBS chopped cilantro
½ TBS finely chopped jalapeño
Salt to taste

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Serve with chips or tacos and burritos.
