There are many ways for cooking trout. You can bake it, broil it, grill it or pan fry it. This recipe is made in the oven and is simple and delish.
This trout recipe can be made with any kind of fish you like and only requires six very simple ingredients. You can make it with salmon, basa, tilapia, sole, wahoo, etc. This is one of my favorite ways to eat fish.
You can serve this baked fish with couscous or steamed quinoa, salad or steamed veggies. It will go very nicely with just about anything you like. This is a great and simple way to eat clean food.
This is what you need for this delicious and simple trout recipe:
16 oz. of trout or any firm fleshed fish – cleaned
1/3 cup unsalted butter – melted
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lime or lemon zest
1 TBS lime or lemon juice
1 TBS chopped parsley
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Place cleaned fish into an oven proof dish. Mix the butter, salt, lime zest, lime juice and parsley in a bowl.
Add the lime butter to the fish. Spread well. Bake for about 17 minutes – or until fish is cooked through.
Cut fish into pieces and serve with melted butter on top. Enjoy!
