How to Make Quesadillas

I want to show you how to make quesadillas. We are going to make these in the oven as it is simpler, cleaner and fuzz free. You will end up with a crisp tortilla filled with ooey, goeey melted cheese that you will love.

Quesadillas are a great snack. You can have them for breakfast or serve them to the kids after school. I love eating them with strawberry jam.

As you can see in this recipe you can use corn or flour tortillas. They will both work. It depends on what you like.

The cheese you use should be one that will melt easily. This is also a matter of personal choice.

This is how to make quesadillas:

Makes one quesadilla
2 Tortillas per quesadilla – can be flour or corn
1/4 cup Grated Cheese per quesadilla – any cheese that melts well such as Cheddar, Edam, Mozzarella, Gruyere, etc.

Heat your oven to the highest it will go and set the rack on the bottom shelf.

Place your tortillas in a baking sheet and top one generously with grated cheese. Cover the tortilla with another one.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 2 to 3 minutes. Remove it and flip it if it is browned to your liking. Please check them around 2 minutes and see if they are ready. They will burn fairly quickly.

Flip the quesadilla and bake for another 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and cut. Enjoy.
