Bacon Wrapped Chicken Thighs

These bacon wrapped chicken thighs are very easy to make. All you need are skinless, boneless chicken thighs, BBQ sauce and bacon.

You can cook these chicken thighs with bacon in the oven or on a grill with indirect heat. They take about 40 to 45 minutes to cook but please make sure to check that they are fully cooked before you eat them.

I used two bacon slices per thigh in this video. However, one will work great as well. I included the nutritional information at the bottom of the recipe so that you can decide. I also used my Homemade BBQ Sauce but feel free to use store bought if you prefer.

This is what you are going to need to make these finger-licking-good chicken thighs with bacon:

Serves four
8 skinless chicken thighs or bone
½ cup barbecue sauce
8-16 slices of bacon
Salt and pepper

Heat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 C).

Rinse and dry thighs. Place them on a rack in a roasting pan and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Generously apply barbecue sauce to the inside of the thigh. Fold the thighs to their original shape. Apply barbecue sauce on both sides of the folded thigh.

Wash your hands and start wrapping each thigh in bacon. You can use one or two slices. You decide. Check out the nutritional information at the bottom if you would like.

Apply a thin layer of barbecue sauce on the bacon on top of each thigh and place into the oven. Cook the chicken for 40-45 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked. Carefully flip the chicken at around 30 minutes so the bacon cooks evenly on both sides.

Serve and enjoy.

I really enjoyed your communicating skills of how you relayed this recipe here. I should not be allowed in the kitchen but this came together surprisingly easy. Thank you for your time in sharing this. I have burnt this recipe on my brain. Your videos on this were a big motivational factor for me. This may just help me get a wife. Cheers!
