How to Make Oven Roasted Pork Loin

Oven Roasted Pork Loin

I am usually very good about not straying from my grocery list but sometimes I stumble across such good deals that I can not help but make the purchase! The other day I found a nice piece of boneless pork loin roast being sold as ‘managers special’ for $5.69 and I went ahead and purchased it.

Lemon-Garlic Roasted Pork Loin

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds pork loin
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Pork Loin:
    • Place the pork loin in a roasting pan.
    • Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the entire surface of the pork loin.
    • Rub the pork loin evenly with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano leaves.
    • Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce over the seasoned pork loin, ensuring it is well-coated.
    • Pork Loin Roast with Spices.
  3. Roast the Pork:
    • Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven.
    • Roast the pork loin for 40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) on a meat thermometer.
  4. Rest the Meat:
    • Remove the pork loin from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and tender roast.
  5. Serve:
    • Slice the pork loin and serve immediately. Enjoy the tender, juicy, and flavorful roast!

Tips:

  • Meat Thermometer: For best results, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The pork is done when it reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Serving Suggestions: Pair this roast with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
