Dark Brown Sugar Substitute

This short video will show you how to make dark brown sugar substitute. This is a very easy method that will work great whenever you need dark brown sugar and cannot find it.

This substitute can be used in any of your recipes that require dark brown sugar.

Makes about 1 cup
1 cup (200 grams) white sugar
1/4 cup (80 grams) molasses
Mix both ingredients together until you have no more white sugar. Use as you would regular dark brown sugar in your desserts and in your baking.
