Thai Iced Tea Recipe – Easy

This Thai iced tea recipe is made with black tea, star anise and half and half. It is very refreshing, is not super sweet and is very easy to make.

You can purchase spiced Thai tea. It is a mixture of tea that can have orange, lavender, star anise, coloring and other spices. This version is a lot more simpler but is absolutely delicious.

Typically Thai tea is finished with condensed milk and sugar and topped off with evaporated milk. We are going to add some sugar into the tea and use half and half. This tea is delicious and you will not miss the condensed milk at all. Of course, if you want ot make it sweeter go ahead and add more sugar.

If you cannot find half and half you can create your own by mixing equal parts of cream and whole milk. You can also make this recipe vegan by adding coconut milk instead.

This is what you are going to need for this delicious and easy Thai iced tea recipe:

Serves four
4 cups (1 liter) water
1/3 cup sugar
