How to Make Oven Roasted Pork Loin
I am usually very good about not straying from my grocery list but sometimes I stumble across such good deals that I can not help but make the purchase! The other day I found a nice piece of boneless pork loin roast being sold as ‘managers special’ for $5.69 and I went ahead and purchased it.

Lemon-Garlic Roasted Pork Loin
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds pork loin
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Pork Loin:
- Place the pork loin in a roasting pan.
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the entire surface of the pork loin.
- Rub the pork loin evenly with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano leaves.
- Drizzle the Worcestershire sauce over the seasoned pork loin, ensuring it is well-coated.

- Roast the Pork:
- Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven.
- Roast the pork loin for 40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) on a meat thermometer.
- Rest the Meat:
- Remove the pork loin from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy and tender roast.
- Serve:
- Slice the pork loin and serve immediately. Enjoy the tender, juicy, and flavorful roast!
Tips:
- Meat Thermometer: For best results, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The pork is done when it reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serving Suggestions: Pair this roast with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
I
I served the pork with a green salad and Rosemary roasted potatoes.
