Lemon Garlic Tilapia

This lemon garlic tilapia recipe is made in the oven and will be on the table within 20 minutes. It is super easy to make, very healthy and absolutely delicious.

Tilapia is a mild white fish that is quite inexpensive. If you would rather use a different type of fish go ahead and pick a white, fleshy fish such as sole, haddock, mahi-mahi or catfish.

This is a great meal for busy days. The longest you are going to take is mincing your garlic and chopping your parsley. Everything else just happens by itself!

Here is what you are going to need for this wonderfully clean and delish lemon garlic tilapia recipe:

Serves six
6 large tilapia fillets
2 large lemons – juiced
1 tsp. lemon zest
1 garlic clove – minced
1 TBS unsalted butter – melted
Salt & Pepper
2 TBS chopped parsley

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).

Rinse the fish and pat dry well. Place the fish in a baking dish. Season both sides with salt and a little pepper.
Add the lemon zest and the minced garlic to the melted butter. Set aside.

Drizzle the lemon juice all over the fish. Add the prepared butter. Move the zest and garlic around with a fork to cover all the fish.

Place in the oven for 15 to 17 minutes until fish is cooked through and flaky. Serve.
